KG from Hilden is the first supplier worldwide to present shower rods with integrated LED lighting as an absolute top innovation for bathrooms and showers. "With our idea, we are bringing light into the darkness, because this is exactly what 68% of Germans would like to see, especially for their shower cubicles, according to a Forsa survey. However, most bathrooms are poorly lit due to a lack of windows, lights placed centrally in the room or light-absorbing shower curtains. The new LED shower rods range from WENKO brings a cosy feel-good atmosphere to even the darkest bathroom. The stylish designer shower rods made of satin-finish plastic have internal, full-surface lighting. The power supply is ensured - also an absolute novelty - by removable rechargeable batteries, tested to protection class IP65 and rechargeable via USB connection, which ensure a service life of 8 to 29 weeks (with an average shower time of 6 to 11 minutes), depending on the model. A blue LED light on the underside of the shower bars indicates the battery life so that it can be recharged in good time.
The PLUS X AWARD is the world's largest innovation award for technology, sport and lifestyle. The innovation award was initiated as a project to protect and strengthen the brand and the trade as well as to improve the orientation of the end consumer and is already in its seventeenth year of existence in 2020.
